So there you have it! In this series of posts I have tried to paint a clear picture of things you can expect as you venture out seeking how you can make money online. You saw first hand how the Guru’s of this business have complete control over their playing field, and they send there Sales sharks out into the water everyday. You will run into them in places they know you will be hanging out at, and you will interact with them in some way, shape, or form. These places could be at a Big Expo’s in town, or you can run into them online. They will be be able to sniff you out because of the keywords you use while searching for information. They know exactly how to advertise their sales pages to hook their next fish.

I focused on the Ebay business experience for the purpose of this illustration. The website building program and mentor was a total different experience, and would have to be illustrated by itself. My experience and advise is the same in the end result. Do not get me wrong there are thousands of people making money online with Ebay. One great thing about Ebay is you have the opportunity of being able to market your product on a fully optimized website. The hardest part of that, is identifying a marketable product with profit margin potential. Ebay brings customers to your auction or store, but you have to have your product in place. Without a viable product to market you are going endure the expenses of running an Ebay auction or store.

Instead what I have chosen to do is, generate my own traffic to my websites and promote and market products though affiliate based programs.There are thousands of affiliate programs out there, and companies will pay you a commission directly for any sale generated with your sales_id link. This allows you the ability to focus on driving traffic and promoting sales without having to worry about placing orders and the customer service aspect of the business. Nonetheless , this option is not a guarantee to success. Without the proper research of niche markets and techniques, along with execution you will not have any success making money online.

The bottom line is do not attempt to start any business venture without a written plan. You could do this in the form of a standard business plan or you can create your own road map in the form of mapping strategies. Think of your business map as your navigational device. A written document that will get you from points A-Z. It will be able to tell you exactly where you are and where you need to go to reach your destination of an unfamiliar place.
